On behalf of the brothers of Nagoya Mosque and Gifu Mosque, I would like to invite you to the opening ceremony of the first stage of Gifu Islamic complex which includes:

Bab al-islam Gifu Masjid & The Muslim Culture Center.

The opening ceremony will be on Sunday July 27, 2008, 10:00 A.M.

O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam. Q(2:102) O mankind! Revere your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single person, created, of like nature, His mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women;- reverence Allah, through whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (That bore you): for Allah ever watches over you. Q 3:1

” O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and (always) say a word directed to the Right: That He may make your conduct whole and sound and forgive you your sins: He that obeys Allah and His Messenger, has already attained the highest achievement ” Q 33 70-71

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam , i advise myself and you ro fear Allah always. The Serants of Allah seasons are changing and years are ending , the sun , moom and stars are rotating. Everthing is moving, what was began will end and who was born will die and after sunrise there is sun-set. ” Allah changes the night and day , surely there is a leson in thta for those who have vision ” 3:44
The seasons are reminding us the changing and movement of everythin. We are now in Winter and there lessons to learn from winter. Winter is reminding us the tough coldness of Hell-Fire. In a Hadith reported by Bukhar and Muslim on the authority of Abi Hurairat the Prophet peace be upon him said : ‘ The Hell Fire complained to its Lord that O my Lord , we are eating ie hurting each other , then Allah alowed it to breath two breathes. Whenever you feel bitter cold its from the breath of Hell fire and the tough hotness you fell is from its excessive hotness.”

Brothers and Sisters as w know the fire is in pipes , it had no any outlet so it was very very tough inside, and as its a creature it felt in needs to release its hotness and coldness, as we human being we breath and feel okey. Then Allah allowed it to have two breathes , one brings winter and the other brings summer. Both are from Allah’s greta creation. Fire has parts of hotness and coldness Allah does whatever He wants , He created sweetness and sour from Plants which feed from the same water.

We are now in winter preparing to wear strong closes to prevent our selves from the cold , its a lesson to us to fear the cold of the Hell fire.

Brothers our righteous ancestors were taking Winter as a gift and an offer from Allah as Ibn Masqood r.a said ‘ Welcome the Winter where there is blessings , the night is long for praying and the day is short for fasting.

Al Hasan AlBasar was saying : ‘Blessed is the believer’s period of winter , its night is long he stands praying and its day is short he fasts’
Winter is therfore a simple gain for those who want to gain.
Yes, you may feel uneasy to wake up for ablution in that coldness but know that this also is a favour and a way of reward for you. The Prophet peac be upon him said should i tell you what rubs off sins and lifts the grades and ranks ? The Companions said Yes O the Messenger of Allah , He said: Getting Ablution in disliked times ie like in Winter. and in other ays when you feel uneasy. Therefore we should tryu to benefit from this season as we have seen.

Brothers , in previous days we were in Ramadan. praying, fasting remembering Allah , reciting Qur’an.
Are we continuing with these good deeds?
Have you been able to pray at night after Ramadan?
Are fasting Sunnah after Rmadan?
Are we reciting the Noble Qur’an?
Are we remenbering Allah day and night?

Lets try our best and as we know there are tendays coming in the month of Dhul Hajj which are better than the days of Ramadan.The Hadithis in Bukhar. Be prepared for Ibaadat. Allah says : Wal Fajr. Wa Layaalin Ashr ” By the Dawn and the ten nights”. The scholars of Tafsiir from that Hadith of Albukhar make it clear that these are the ten days which Allah sweared on.
So the chances are coming for us for worshipping Allah.

WE pray for our beloved Prophet may Allah put His mercy and blessings upon Him and his followers. WE ask Allah to forgive and help muslims all over the world and solve their problems.

After praising Allah the Almighty and asking Him to bless and bestow peace upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad and to his followers.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam we always recommend ourselves to fear Allah the Great.
By the favours of Allah we are living again in special months and days. These are the days of Hajj, which is a major and a ‘Rukun’ ie Pillar of Islam A Rukun or Pillar mean something on which stands others. Islam is hold and stands on five pillars it means if one is missing Islam bends or may fall down.
Hajj brings muslims together from about 70 countries , its an international conference for worshiping Allah, its where you can see all types of nations.
Hajj is an important pillar of Islam . Its the symbols of Islamic History. That house is special. it was built on the basis of worshipping only One God Allah. Allah says ” And remember when we showed Ibrahim the site of the (sacred)House (the Ka’bah at Makkah) (saying): ” Associate not anything in worship with Me” and sanctify My House for those who circumambulate it , and those who stand up for (prayers) and those who bow (submit themselves to Allah ) and make prostration (in prayers) chapter 22 verse 26.

Look brothers the way Allah talked ! He said when We showed Ibrahim the site of the House ,associate not anything in worship with Me” It means your are going to raise the House for what reason? To worship Me alone. This is the reason for that House . it was built for the purpose of offering Ibaadat ‘ worship to Allah only. This house is very old and great and you see Allah said He showed Ibrahim the site , The Scholars say that the House was built by Adam but as time passed the floods and changes, it was washed away but the site remained.
The House was built for worshipping Allah, our Brothers and Sisiters will go there and saying ”Labbaika Llahumma labbaika” meaning we a have responded to your call Oo our Lord.

Let us who remain behind also respond to this call by our hearts and minds. Allah ordered Ibrahim alaih salam to call people to come to Hajj and he said how can my voice reach all of them, Allah told him you call , its upon Us to deliver the voice , so the voice reached all people and all those whop were not yet born also heard and those who were to respond responded.

2ND PART

Brothers and Sisters Allahs sweared by the dawn saying: ‘ Wal Fajr’ By the Dawn and by the ten nights….. ( ch 89 v 1-3) The morning time is special in Islam, the Fajr prayer is great and you see the reward only for the sunnah before Fajr obligatory prayer, only those two rakaas are better than the world and what is in it as the Prophet said.
Look at big cities around you.Look at money in this world only these two rakas are better than all these. The Prophet peace be upon him also asked Allah to bless this time of morning for his Ummat.
This time is a great time of these days whereby the Prophet peace be upon him said as its in Bukhar on the authority of Ibn Abbas ra that the Prophet peace be upon him said no days loved and great to Allah for worshipng Him than these days , the Prophet was asked , though its Jihad in Allah’s way? He said though its Jihad unless someone goes with his wealth and dies there , other than that any deed in these days is special.
Therefore its another chance after Ramadan that we increase our worship Quran recitation, Salaat , Sadaq, Zakat ,Fasting and other Ibaadat should be increase like Zikr and extra.
Finally we ask Allah for our Brothers and Sisters who are going to Hajj to give then a nice journey and accept their deeds and we advise them to be good to their muslim brothers overthere , no harming them, its good you kiss a black stone but if its by harming and pushing your brother you shouldn’t do so. The good you need is little compared to harm of hurting your brother.
May Allah help us and all Muslims and give us the best life in this world and in the Hereafter.
